Its not too long until we meet again... =)
The TP Days
Last month, just before the transition stage from training to production, I handed my resignation as a CSR in that company. Its tough as usual. I know what it feels like when someone left from your workmates and when you left your workmates. I always believe that no matter how hard your work is as long as you have your companions to support you, its still worth it. I wouldn't want to fill this space with my sentimental blunts about what I felt and about my thoughts. I think I said it enough on my previous entries. This time around, I just want to take a glimpse on what really happened to me on that 2 months. Work wise, I'm not really happy with it, that's why I left, but everything I gained from these people and the trainings, those are the things I will always carry with me wherever I go. So much for 2 months, I just thank god he allowed me to experienced it even just for awhile....
and of course, for allowing me to meet these people. =)
The Treat!
So, since everybody was nagging me about treating them since during that time i still have a job, FINE!
I can be generous if I want, though most of the time, I am so stingy. No, that's not the proper term... I'm just saving my money for future important expenses. How about that? HAHAHA.
Usually, when I treat, I never tell it to anyone, what I usually do is just to invite people as much as my budget can, but without knowing that I am going to treat them, so lucky for those who will come. HAHAHA. Another thing is that I usually do it "biglaan"! HAHAHA.
When it pours, it rains, so when I treat, it rains! HAHAHA.
Got to treat them in YellowCab, Starbucks and Giligans.. I miss one thing there, Movie!
Dave and Abhie accepted my invite and because of that they are the lucky ones!! HAHAHA.
Yes, It STRIKES!!! again.
I know nothing more enjoyable than that happy-go-lucky wandering life, in which you are perfectly free; without shackles of any kind, without care, without preoccupation, without thought even of to-morrow. You go in any direction you please, without any guide save your fancy.
GUY DE MAUPASSANT, "Miss Harriet"
Bebang's Homecoming
I love homecomings! Aside from "Libre", there are a lot of things we can talked about. Gossip, issue, gossip, issue and gossip and issue. HAHAHA. Its really funny, we picked ourselves where we left off. We brought all the same old stories that we talked about everyday and still we found ourselves laughing really hard about it. Like its the first time we heard that story. HAHAHA. Thanks to Facebook, everyone can join our conversation even though they are not physically present at that moment. That's why I love them. =)
One is out of the scene, I guess he's dead! HAHAHA.
My thoughts while eating “Empanada”: CYD and SG
(Came from my Tumblr account!! YA YA! I was laughing when I re-read this...)
My 4 Meals per Day/Treats/Eat All You Can Days!
*If they want me to work longer hours, they will bribe me…. FOOD! and then, i will say YES!
*They knew what makes me happy, FOOD!
*Uncle Philip will always bring cream puffs from old chang kee, he will bring one bag full of cream puffs… (their cream puff is like empanada to me!)
*When I do morning shifts, i always have nasi lemak courtesy of “die die ma”
*I always treat my colleagues doin closing whenever my duty is morning or mid shift and visit mcdo or burger king right after work.
*Every supper, automatically they will order fried rice, the half is for me, and the rest is for them. LOL.
*I love buffets, I will always push my tummy to its limit up until I can hardly breathe.
*I’m always the one to finish my food first even they start to eat first.
*Addicted to Nasi Lemak, for the whole year, I only ordered for luncheon meat, tempura and chicken with 2-3 rice. Nothing else.
*Everytime i eat at work’s cafeteria and scooped my rice, everyone will look at my plate.
*If off duty and i need to spend money for food, i only have 3 choices to eat, chicken rice, pork fried rice and nasi lemak. if no budget, just chicken rice.
*Whenever we eat at pinoy restaurants or whatsoever, we thank god that we got the chance to finally eat a real food.
*The biggest party ever happened…. club sandwich, pizza, nasi goreng, laksa, ice cream, fries, chocolates and chicken pop corn. Suddenly i miss quesadilla.
*Its hard to believe that there’s no Coffee Club in Philippines. Damn, i miss Mudpie! The first time I tried it was with someone who fell at her chair. LOL.
*And its also hard to believe that there are no Molten Cake and Tiramisu available at Starbucks here. Although I love Cinnamon and Banana Bread. HAHAHA.
*KangKong, the most unforgettable food ever.
*I seldom drink softdrinks, but I drink a lot of Ice Lemon Tea.
*Junkies, always Potato Chips! I can still remember when the store sell Lays for 2 SGD, LOL. We finished all their Lays.
*Well im not really choosy when it comes to food, though i dont eat lots of veggies and salad.
And now, they are asking, ‘what happened to you? you look so thin’. LOL.
Ask my metabolism.

My OCTOBER!!
Awesome! Its October.. September just gone too soon! I can say that October is the most important month for the Clan, my dad, my aunt and my grandma's birthday (RIP) and this is the month when we usually had reunions. Personally, well, most of friends celebrate their birthdays on this month. I just dont know why??? HAHAHA!!
And since I am back again from being a bummer, time to catch up with stories from the past 2 months. I got a lot actually!!
Time to wake up since September already ended! I bet they just sleep for whole month of September, really! with the song of Greenday playing on their heads. C'mon!! HAHAHA. Alright, the first song I heard for this month... TOGETHER by Demi Lovato & Jason Derulo. SUPER NICE!
and the most celebrated event during october?? OKTOBERFESTTTT!!! Mann, i'm not a fan of beers.
I thought September was going to be my month, I think its October.. *crossfingers*
The Past 2 Months...
Oh yeah, I'm back!! I miss blogging... I miss ranting.. I miss everything in this space... I know I have a lot of stories to publish prior to this, but I'll try to make it up. HAHAHA.
The past 2 months, I must say is something unexpected. It was short but I felt like it happened for a long time now. Its really awkward that after the previous post talking about new work, I am now ending my journey to that new work. HAHAHA. So fast?? HAHAHA. But please dont get me wrong, its not about being stubborn but I have my reasons. Work for me, is not just about money anyway, I might be lucky as my family can support everything financially right now even though I don't have work but I'm trying to be independent again. Something that I can't do here, as I left half of my heart somewhere else. =)
But the best thing that happened to me within that 2 months is them....
New Life, New Work, New Journey
Its been awhile since I've made my last entry and i kinda miss blogging.
I would want to blog everyday and every step that I made and what I had gone through but I dont want to preempt anything since the result for every process and steps are not certain yet.
Finally, i've ended my 2 months bumming. Although I've gone through a job that is unlikely related to what I want to pursue, I still choose to go for it. I mean, if there is something that is really meant for you, then its really for you.
So what's my new job? I am working as a Trusted Advisor, hell yeah! Technically speaking, I am working as a Customer Service Representative in an international company. CSR=Phone Calls. Did I say I hate phone calls? but the job is all about phone calls. Thank God, I got a good phone training in CYD and im used to handling irate callers. I mean not really good in handling customers on the phone but its not new to me anyways.
Meet my wavemates.... They always make every night worth it.
Homecoming
To tell you honestly, I suggest to them that this one should happen on a Sunday which is July 2 or 3? Lazy to check the calendar. But for the sake of everybody, they moved it to July 7. Days passed by and no one realize that it was indeed a valuable day. I forgot to greet them a HAPPY 4TH MONTHSARY!!
and it was really happy!
It was a homecoming for my ex-supervisor and at the same time a mini reunion for us.
I would like to acknowledge those two very industrious students who decided not to attend their succeeding classes for that day, look they still wearing the school's uniform a la kapote style! Yey!
Google + Project... What the??
Google + is said to compete big time with Facebook!!
A new social networking site by Google and is set to open at the end of this month.
As of now, registration to the site is only via invites from current members.
I was searching for a way to have an account before everybody else does since last week and finally, someone decided to give me an invite!
One thing that I really like about is that it focus mainly of effective communication and distribution of information by using your "circles". To begin with, social networking is all about communication so I think, Google+ got it.
No title, just read it!
LAZY TO THINK OF BETTER TITLE. I THINK THAT ONE IS FINE.
The past few days are ridiculously insane. Though stressful, its been a productive week for me.
Busy days with not so much sleep as my body clock is totally f*cked up. That's the product of being a bummer.
But my days at home are not totally useless. First thing I do when I woke up is to check Thunderbird (email client) right away just to check if there are future appointments for me. I've been engaging to online job search for almost 2 months now and I'm pretty confident with the developments I'm receiving. Its really a big help, less risk, less effort, less expenses but efficient and effective results.
I've crossed this very interesting position and very nice opportunity. Deceiving but hey, I was shocked after self analysis I found myself as qualified. So no second thoughts, I emailed them and they replied like a Yellow Flash. Found out that its auto-reply. HAHA. Never mind. So I invited my 2 colleagues to join me and apply for the same position. The next day was intended for requirements completion. MEANING BACK TO SCHOOL!
This is the only moment in our whole day that we took a pic of ours, and the only pic the we had, for the sake of this blog maybe. HAHAHA.
The Hobby: Job Hunting & Interview - Story 1
Just today, i visited a recruitment firm which i applied in JobsDB. As usual, job exams and interview. And as usual again, its located in Makati. (Makati is a business hub anyway! and its FAB!) I applied for a Management Trainee for i dunno what company. LOL. seriously, i really dont know what company, but then they are looking for a HRM graduate which makes me think that the job is HRM related. But yes, I go through the job description page. I didnt find the company name and all I know is that it is "food retail" and "wines related". I realized I became more careless in pushing the apply button in job sites. That means, I really need a work, as in immediately. HAHAHA. but not because of money.. (honestly!) i just feel like i need something to do, something valuable aside from everyday bonding with my laptop.
Ok, onto my story... It was a surprise call from them since the representative call me at 7PM, which i didnt expect. (usually offices close at 5PM or earlier???) Well, its like a preinterview on the phone and at the end of the conversation, she asked me if i can visit there office tomorrow (which is today) at a certain time, since i'm free I said yes. OK! 2ND APPOINTMENT EVER! (my first one is from market research company, for an analyst job! THATS WHAT YOU CALLED GUTS! HAHAHA!)
The Resurrection of my Tumblr
My Tumblr is UP!
The Blog Title says it all... "Blunts, Rants, & Whatsoever!"
The other side of me, the one that writing to that blog is my so called AlterEgo! HAHAHA.
If you want to feel bored, just read my Tumblr Blog. I always update it like it was my Twitter account. HAHAHA.
An Excursion to Tagaytay
A short trip before the summer ends. A trip with so much delay. Still end up going with people who is always on the go!
And yes, it was planned. I'm always amuse with planned outings. HAHAHA.
It was a long day trip and I never experienced weariness not until i slept and woke up.
Tagaytay is just a 2-3 hours trip from the city of Manila. It is an easy getaway for people who wants a quick relaxation and leisure.
Tagaytay is at my province, Cavite! But to tell you honestly, I've never done a full visit to Tagaytay until this trip.
We've gone to three destinations, major spots Picnic Groove and People's Park, and The Church of Manaog (Tierra Maria).
As always, I do my own research before launching to a trip. Something I've learned from a good friend when we went to Baguio way back 2009.
The "BETS" reunited
As my head is still banging with These Kids Wear Crown's version of I Wanna Dance With Somebody..
"Oooh I wanna dance with somebody, I wanna feel the heat with somebody, Yeah, I wanna dance with somebody, with somebody who loves me!!!"
.. can't stop thinking about Monday night!
I got some nice time hanging out with my college girlfriends. I was in the dilemma of not going because I have to leave my place for Manila at 7PM?! HAHAHA. But then, I haven't seen them for almost 1 1/2 years and with their busy work schedules, finally we got to see each other again!
"BETS" that's what we call each other, aside from "MARE" and "BAKLA".. Bets our slang version of "bitch"! HAHAHA. Its a sudden word. Way back on our college years, there was this girl who is so irritated to us inside our classroom. She overheard my other mare saying "bitch" several times, she got offended because she thought we are referring to her. And the war began! HAHAHA. We are telling to that girl that she misunderstood us but refused to listen to us! So for a solution, we told everyone in our group that to avoid misunderstanding with other stupid people, we are going to make a slang version of "bitch" which is BETS! HAHAHA!
"Mare" is another version of Amiga in Spanish and "Bakla" means gay! HAHAHA.
Gladly, they haven't changed.. They are still sweet, crazy, funny and naughty as always! =)
Back to being.... SCHMALTZY!
In other words, sentimental... Sentimental with the songs i'm listening to. HAHAHA.
I found myself lure to more headbanging songs nowadays... so time to relax. SWING SWING SWING!
If you hate everything about being sentimental then this is not the place for you. HAHAHA.
Thank God that in spite of this trending auto tune and whatsoever in mainstream music (not a hater though), I can still find some songs like this.
JAY SEAN'S HOME
I freakkin in love with this song.
Club M
A place that i've never known for the past 5 years when its just around the school.
What a shame for me! HAHAHA.
This is the first major? gathering of the babies after coming home. This is one is so last month. HAHAHA. Missing 4 people from the group.
I wonder when will be the first time that we can all be together, completely!
Syndrome
Its been a month... as the day passes by, the more we keep on thinking about it!
Isn't that it should be the other way around?
I can describe our feelings as helpless. We can do nothing about it for now but to sigh, reminisce and wait.
Anyway, its not really easy to just move on, especially when all you can think are the good memories, good days and good people that you had in becoming independent for the first time in your life.
The Star City!
Yay! This is my 100th blog entry for my blog.... Ahh Yeah!
I haven't touched the net through my laptop for quite sometime now, and besides nothing really special for this month except for the unending passing of requirements. DUHH!
Moving on, this one actually is way back last month. Uhmm, 1 week after we landed here from SG.
So its the my first major trip after coming back. Its like, before moving forward to stressful school works, how about a nice and fun trip!
I was still in High School when the last time I entered Star City, I think with my relatives. It is a theme park just like DisneyLand, but yeah, its way way way more better than this. I actually love to go in Enchanted Kingdom which is more more better than this one but its kinda far. Theme Park situated in the city with a lot of establishments nearby... this is the most accessible recreational park.
Joining with me, is the guy who is always on the go, Richard and the one who decided to make a big change, JC. HAHAHA.
We are all 21 years old, my gawddd... HAHAHA. And I miss my long hair!
*The fun never ends at Star City* is that the slogan??? am i right?? HAHAHA.
The BUM Days!
School is totally over! Sigh, sigh, sigh!
Its time for me to get a job.
Mom asked me if what are my plans after graduation, well, i said... lemme rest for awhile first... ahh, 6 months should be fine! LOL. No, i'm just kidding.
And because of that she warned me that she and dad will never give me any money at all...
Ya, ya.. like i dont use in asking any money from them at all.
Luckily, the money I thrift way back there can still handle my wants... HAHAHA. only my wants!
I'm now entering my BUM DAYS! =)
Oh, yeah... BOMBER MAN! HAHAHA.
LPU Commencement Exercises '11: Proud & Bold!
The day has finally arrived! The end and the beginning of chapters in my life.
A moment that is worth a king's ransom.
The celebration of unending and unconditional hardwork of ourselves and people who helped us especially our parents.
Sharing excitement, inspirations, tears and laughters for one last time.
An event that can only be happened once in your life.
To hear your name at the stage, walk through it proudly and get your hard-earned diploma.
The precious part of switching your tassel to the right as the sign of being a graduate.
and that finally you can say to yourself "JOB WELL DONE!"
It is a privileged to graduate in the biggest hospitality university in the Philippines with 1000 College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management Students with Degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management Specializing in Cruise Line, Hotel and Restaurant Management, and Tourism!
The most awaited event every school year... COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES!
Baccalaureate Mass
The first time to hear the Graduation Hymn.... Yeah! After 5 years!!!
Students are screaming showing their excitement.
An inspirational message from the priest!
and never ending picture taking!
BACCALAUREATE MASS 2011!
Students are more modest when it comes to mass. Sign of maturity! But not really... HAHAHA.
Looking Back... The College Years!
3 days before the upcoming commencement exercises. Sad & Excited.
Time flies so fast and before finally exiting to my life as a student, i would like to reminisce those years.
If i get old at least i got something to read about my life, maybe at that point of time, i already forgot some parts of my life. Yet, this entry will remind me about everything.
Me as a student, I'm not an OVER ACHIEVER nor UNDER ACHIEVER, I'm not a PARTY ANIMAL, I'm not a PIMP MASTA and I'm not LAZY EVERYDAY.
I always try to balance everything. Though I'm not a book lover, and I always hate writing and reading notes, I always want an academic recognition. Though I'm not always there to hang out with my friends, I always try to find sometime for them. I chose to be ALL and not just be ONE. Coz i would like to experience everything!
This one is very very long!!! HAHAHA.
5 years... Its not a hard nut to crack but not my 4 days!
After 4 days of wasting my time in school to do my clearance finally I GOT IT!
I really dont want to do my clearance, i just want to get my Toga!
HELL! That 4 days is much more difficult that my 5 years in College.
I was in the cashier's section when I was about to pay my bills. I'm queuing with a number of 870. At 869, all the computers got hanged! That was so disgusting and I need to wait for 20 minutes before I paid my bills. >/
But anyway, all things are positive now, 4 days from now before the commencement exercises and im still not prepared... HAHAHA.
4 days from now, im not a student anymore!
yeah, SAD!
Home and Changes
So finished with my Singapore Life! Back to my HOME!
I miss everything especially foods!!! HAHAHA.
The best will be my mom's cooked foods. NOTHIN BEATS IT! HAHAHA.
Honestly, we're still inside the airport but we can see that we are really in the Philippines.
HAH! The Long Queue of Line! THATS THE SIGN! HAHAHA.
Unfortunately, we arrived at the worst terminal in NAIA, The Terminal 1, the infrastructure is too old and its equipments are all technologically behind!
It needs renovation! As in Full Renovation!
But we got no choice, we are all from South & Manila and its hard for us to take the Clark Airport in Pampanga coz its too far. Well, NAIA Terminal 3 is way way more more better!
Enough of my ranting! HAHAHA.
So happy to saw my papa, mama and kuya.. (dad, mom, and big brother) to pick me up in the airport.
Upon reaching the car, I saw my niece and my brother's wife with my dad's good friend and my granpa! HAHAHA. BIG!!!
1 1/2 Hours travel time from the airport to Cavite with traffic of course. We go to a JOLIBEE Drive thru! OMG, i miss jolibee! HAHAHA.
My Shanghai Rolls! HAHAHA. Aside from Spaghetti, this is one of my favorites in Jolibee.
Of course, unlike in other countries, meals came with rice. =)
Of course, unlike in other countries, meals came with rice. =)
Young and Free (almost forgot!)
Oh yeah, FORGOT this one, Haayyy, my sequence is poor! HAHAHA.
But since I got a lot time to blog today.. I will just blog it!
It was a nice, nice last bonding with them.
First time for me to stay in East Coast Park until the sun shines. =))
This is the first and the last time that we gathered together and we are COMPLETE.
without the daddy and the mommy. HAHAHA.
The Final Lunch and The Final Visit!
As much as I want to compress the previous entry and these one, I can't really do it.
Its long for the eyes to read. HAHAHA.
This is the final entry about my 1 year stay in Singapore.
No certain plans yet until my graduation to come back for work or just come back there for holidays.
Getting back there for work would be as tough as like the first time we did it.
The Last 24 Hours!
Lunch in Kenny Rogers @ Marina Square.
The Last Supper
The last two days were jam packed!
I mean, of course we got a lot of things to do like packing up our things and doing some last minute paperworks before leaving. Addition to that we got friends who wants to celebrate a day or a night with us before we leave. There was a time that I thought, two remaining days are not enough to be with all of them.
But for the 13 of us, we are trying to fulfill their request and aside from that we have individual errands.
I am not complaining yet, i feel so blessed that these people never fail to think to spend their time with us.
We got nice schedule for each invitations, no lapses, when suddenly... we need to decide for the supper!
Oh yeah, its soooo hard to say "NO" to these two great people who I can say took a large part of making our stay in Singapore MAGNIFICENT!
Last Day @ Fullerton Hotel
This is the saddest, happiest and exciting day on my whole stay in Fullerton.
MY LAST DAY!
Reality Check: During down times, I will say... "I'M TIRED, I WANT TO LEAVE". During good times, I will say... "THIS IS FUN! IM SO LUCKY!"... Sooo truuee! HAHAHA.
Is it normal that you will feel heavy and mixed emotions in any of your last days??? HAHAHA.
Think so.
Friday, not a good last day for us. BUSY! Like they dont feel like we're leaving. But in spite of that, we still made them felt it! HAHAHA.
Wrote this on board before i start working for that day. The whiteboard is always busy, and they never erased my little message for them. =)
A Date with the OTHER ME!
Onto the next story, I got one night to spend with my ex colleague who got the same name as mine.
That's why we call each other "the other me" makes sense? HAHAHA.
she use to call me GILLO and I use to call her SILING. Its my last name, well at least she can pronounced it right and that was her chinese name.
We're not comfortable calling each other to our given name because its like i am calling myself and vice versa. HAHAHA. Like, CRAZY!
Two Stops! Boon Keng and Marina Square. Dinner and Supper. =)
Supper is a Practice
Normally, I never took much pictures during Supper.
Well, what we normally do is just eat, movie and eat again, if we still got time we go for drinks.
And normally its for free.
This might be the first time i blogged about our "supper thing".
Its a part of Singapore lifestyle as what I know.
In PH, this one never practice. But there is a similar term to this one which is almost the same, MIDNIGHT SNACK! HAHAHA.
First time to bring my camera for the night. Ahmm, actually its dinner, movie, supper. Coz we finished early at work. =) And i still got the chance to go back home first and brought my camera.
The Suppermates! =)
Dinner @ Open House Restaurant, Grand Park Orchard
Hopefully, My sequence is right. HAHAHA
Ok, As what the bitch promised me, she will treat me for a dinner! HAHAHA.
Nice thing, she do!
"im tired" that's the phrase i will not forget that day... HAHAHA.
Met her in the "back" of Wisma Atria with Richard as my photographer. =)
We searched for Francis Cheng, the Manager trying our luck to get a good deal!
No, I was the photographer! LOL! Kidding.
Open House Restaurant @ Onyx Bar
Nice to see old colleagues!
A Remarkable Sunday: Sentosa & East Coast Park
As I promised, I will now continue to blog the remaining events i failed to blog this past few days before leaving Singapore. I never thought that this will be the last Sentosa and East Coast Park bonding that I will share among the 14 of us. Well, the next East Coast Park happenings are with my CYD people and the other one, was like I just stayed there for an hour and left them. =\
Thanks for my HBM and i can still recall the happenings we had there. =)
and i'm finally home.
wah! after a year! finally, i got to see my family again.
but i left my 2nd family so, ask me if i'm really happy.. not totally!
its like i carry half of my heart back home and i left the other half at Singapore.
Sad and Happy but i know people we left there are extremely sad and i know it is.
All of them hoping us to come back, at least to work there again.
I just need my diploma and everything will follow maybe yeah.. half a year as supposed to be. =)
I got a lot of things i need to blog about but these past few days i didnt got any chance to do it so maybe for this upcoming days i can blog it one by one.
We left SG with these people around us. THANKS GUYS. We feel loved. So much love.
The trainee life is almost OVER!
Blogging this, 2:25 am, after 3 1/2 hours i'll be taking the last 8 hours of work of being a trainee at The Fullerton Hotel.
FINALLLY... Ask me what I feel..
40% Happiness and 60% Sadness! Like i cannot solely feel that I'm happy.
Leaving everything that you love is the same pain as you are the person who will be left.
I got so much thing to blog for the last week of stay here at Singapore.
Hopefully, I could post it before we leave as well as the message i will read later before i finally end my shift. =)
I hope for the best for my last day.
A Remarkable Sunday: The Lantern
Time for Fullerton Bay Hotel's The Lantern....
The Lantern is the main bar of the FBH situated at the rooftop overseeing the whole Marina Bay. (really nice view)
Ok, we are having doubts of whether to enter here or not... Thanks to Sarah, we decided to go Lantern first before Sentosa. Roaming around FBH is not really common for us as we are still working under the hotel's company. Fullerton Hotel is fine but for some reason, FBH is really strict with this.
And because of that, this will be my first time to step to Lantern as well as to make a brief visit in Clifford. Lucky, we got the DM's consent to go up! =)
CHEERS!!!
A Remarkable Sunday: The Lighthouse
Before going to lighthouse... we passed by straits club and pool area. Yeah, you cannot access the pool area without the card. Well, we just want to tour our agent around the hotel. Our next stop was The Lighthouse but not to dine there. just to enjoy the view at the rooftop. Since its sunday, outlet supposed to open at 6:00pm for dinner. So we just spend sometime to took some pics.
But before continuing to Lighthouse, lemme show you the Roof Garden first at the 5th floor!
A Remarkable Sunday: Fullerton Hotel's Sunday Brunch
Finally! A taste of Fullerton's Sunday Brunch!
Richard, JM, Alvin, JC, Dave, Wilfred, Stephen and Me with special participation of Mr. Marvin Punzalan.
We chose to seat at the lobby.... nice morning ambiance for the brunch!
"I am lamenting.... for those people who are invited but chose not to join." - STEPHEN (LOL!)
My CYD Fun & Facts!
And I am totally stress free with this stressful practicum report! Finally I'm done! Just in time!
With my completion of my requirement, i can't help to think about the last 2 weeks!
It is just too painful to think that, I'll be leaving such a wonderful country that makes me a more better person than ever.
And as colleagues are aware of our departure, lots of things poppin out of nowhere.
There is no certainty of anything yet, but what important to me is the present and what i know is we will be leaving soon...
TENTATIVE DATE OF DEPARTURE: APRIL 12, 2011!
So tonight, i decided to blog my memorable memories at the CYD, the reason... because I dont want to miss a single thing about everything.
From Zero to Hero!
About 1 year ago, 14 people choose the path that was different from the others.
Among the 22 people who successfully passed the interview, only 14 people have the guts to try it.
I sacrificed graduating for that school year just to go here. No assurance of anything that might happen along the way. I've waited 6 months for this opportunity and i'm glad, its worth it.
Ok, ok... i was so bored doing my practicum report all the time.
But this one is fine, right? HAHAHA.
Pepen's grandiose birthday celebration!
Since i still got my birthday voucher for 2 at Town Restaurant, i decided to join with my friend who is celebrating her birthday that night. And since i've got no special person to share the voucher so whoever is free that night will be fine. LUCKY!!! HAHAHA.
I'm not expecting anything at all. Just a simple dinner at the restaurant, chitchats and sideline at the chocolate buffet.. But its bigger than everyone expected! LOVE IT!
Its not really a perfect picture.. but, its cute. =)
The Post Birthday Celebration!
What i know is that there is something going on, but i am not sure about it.
Yes, i am aware that the preparation maybe "a part" is for my birthday celebration but i never thought that everything on that day will be something i didnt expect!
Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is letting go of the past, and is therefore the means for correcting our misperceptions.
My 21st: Part 4 - Peperoni Pizzeria and The Fullerton Hotel
Everytime we go out and go to places that we never been before, we always rely with Google Maps via our Blackberry. We overlooked this one, before we reach the last place my phone is already dead! Thank God, we are still able to reach that place! On the way, I need to call the restaurant just to inform them that we are coming late. Or else, we might need to look for another restaurant to eat and we cannot afford to do so because we are starving already.
Here I come, my 21" pizza!!!
My 21st: Part 3 - Paintball Target Shooting and Bottle Tree Park
At 16:30 finally we reached the pier, time to meet up with JM for the paintball target shooting at Khatib.
I am actually rooting for a tournament paintball shoot out but since i failed to compose a minimum of 6 persons to join us, we decided to take paintball shooting gallery at the moment.
My 21st: Part 2 - St John's Island & Kusu Island
at exactly 14:30, we docked at St. John's Island... 30 mins travel time from the pier to the island.. Too far actually! They advise us that we can only stay at the island for 15 mins after that we need to return back to the ferry! The St John's Island is huge that 15 mins is too short for us, but we dont have any choice. HAHAHA.
The 21st: Part 1 - The Pier
After the drama and whatsoever, (thought i will celebrate my bday just sleeping all day long!) I still able to celebrate my 21st! Bwahahaha!
The original plan was the camping at Pulau Ubin, but then sometimes life is full of... drama! so i quickly changed the plan. Even so, I still tried to celebrate it with as many people as possible that's why on that day... I'M TOTALLY BROKE! hahaha!
From the beginning of 23rd until it ends, meaning from 00:00 to 23:59 hours, we celebrated my day.. I got 5 hours sleeping time only. But it was FUN! I've never done these things before from my past bdays.
at 00:30 of 23rd, me and the boys bond with each other with beer and vodka at the hostel up until 04:30 in the morning! They terrorized me by interrogating me. Stupid Guys! HAHAHA.
at 11:00 the adventure starts! First on the list: ISLAND HOPPING!
My first ever Bowling Game!
I've played a lot of sports but never thought I can play bowling.
I knew nothing about the sports except for Paeng Nepomuceno. HAHAHA.
It was again a trial just want to know how to play the game and a preparation for the bowling competition in Fullerton this coming 24th. Actually, i dont know yet if im officially included to the competition and who are my teammates. LOL.
This is how we celebrate the Valentines Day!
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE.. i mean.. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all couples and HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY to all singles out there!
We decided to celebrate valentines day by ourselves coz we don't have any special someone right now to celebrate to. How so lonesome! HAHAHA,
Since we need to work that day... we decided to do it in East Coast.. the most accessible place for us at midnight.. =))
Nanay's 1st Death Anniversary
February 3, 2010. Its been a year since she died. I think everyone has finally moved on.
Kinda emotional when I saw these pictures. Nearly cried.. just nearly! =)
I'm so happy viewing these pics like the way they feel when looking and viewing the pics i got...
The Clan's Main Family! =))
My two Titas (Aunt), Papa (Father) and Tatay (Grandpa) !
First Look to Pulau Ubin
I'm kinda impulsive when it comes to going out for adventures. I was planning to go alone in Ubin, luckily this guy decided to go with me or else i dont have any pictures of myself at the island. HAHAHA.
It was a trial. A preparation of our plan to camp at Pulau Ubin. (honestly, i dont think this will be my birthday celebration... though they think it is!)
Its Daniel's Big Day!
Its Daniel's 2nd Birthday and we are invited to join the party!
HAHAHA.
"You are too old already that's why you cant stay awake the whole night!"
=)
Work is all about.. what?!
This past few days, i've been writing all my thoughts in this little crib of mine. I don't why. Its just a nice feeling though to let those thoughts out of your mind. And guess what, suddenly in the middle of the night, I woke up. Thinking about this and that and realize, oh I need to BLOG this one, NOOOWW!
So enough of my non-sense, let's get to my main point.
Just today, a little chit chat in the work with a colleague. Make me realize of the story she just told me, as I ask myself about the statement she said.
"Sometimes, work is not all about money" is it?
Each people got different perspective in different things. Like for love, when I ask you "What is Love?!", then you might say that love is blind... why?! because your friend is so pretty, she got a boyfriend, she thought her boyfriend is handsome but then, in your perspective, yeah, he might be handsome but if your not beside him! YYAAA LAAAAA! =)) Ok, sorry for my MEANingful example.
Naaa, what my point is... there is a lot of factors that compose your definition of something or how do you look to something. So when you try to express some thoughts, its really not applicable to all.. Like for my example above, of course with the friend, Love is not blind, because I got a handsome boyfriend what?! some more since I'm in love with him, no matter what people might say about his look, in my eyes, he's still handsome so BACK OFF!
HAHAHA.
Since this is my crib, allow me to share my thoughts about this little thing whether you like it or not, well after all, your here! I'll try to be fair with this one.
