Onto the next story, I got one night to spend with my ex colleague who got the same name as mine.
That's why we call each other "the other me" makes sense? HAHAHA.
she use to call me GILLO and I use to call her SILING. Its my last name, well at least she can pronounced it right and that was her chinese name.
We're not comfortable calling each other to our given name because its like i am calling myself and vice versa. HAHAHA. Like, CRAZY!
Two Stops! Boon Keng and Marina Square. Dinner and Supper. =)
She was a trainee in CYD for half a month. She joined in together with the 2 sotong one so attention grew up much on her, a positive note. =) She left CYD to jump to another department as a part of her training, (which was supposed to be same as ours!) 3 months before our departure. Though only 6 months, we shared a lot of things. My favorite past time at work is to bully her. HAHAHA.
So as what she promised to me before she left CYD, a dinner treat for me! HAHAHA.
Dinner at Boon Tong Kee!
She ordered, chicken rice, and prawn.. forgot the exact name eh and i ordered pork ribs andddd, root beer. She said she wants to invite me to this place long time ago but she just wait for the time that i'll be leaving Singapore. ;( HAHAHA. Kidding. Food was nice. Really nice. She got angry when i said that Town's Chicken Rice is better than this one. Im just telling the truth. WAHAHAHA.
So she wanted to make the night memorable for me! and yes she did!
She will put everything on my plate, I havent finished my food yet, she will add up some more.. must be thoughtful right? but she kept on scolding me on my food! HAHAHA.
I told her, i can't keep up using chopsticks if i got rice on my table. Its difficult for me, but she dont want me to use spoon! So rude! HAHAHA. She said I have to eat it like a Singaporean way then I told her, I'm not Singaporean what! But she gave up because she cant finish the remaining food and im the only one who can finish all but first she must give me the spoon! HAHAHA. Bwisit!
After the dinner, we passed by my place first and then go to Marina Square to go for coffee, we go to Xinwang Hongkong Cafe. She really want something local for me. HAHAHA.
She wants me to try their Iced Tea-Coffee... something like that. Aside from its cheap, its really nice. We also ordered for Mango Snow Ice and for myself a butter toast. Huge meh!
I had fun that night. Like our time is not enough to talk about all the things we want to talk about. Some more the next day is my last working day at Fullerton and I got 8:00am shift that time. We finished at 1:00am and got 2 hours sleep before going to work.
Well, I dont mind my time as long as it is worth to spent off to a worthy person. The next time I go back to Singapore, we will visit again the same places as what we both promised.
